He and a business associate had just begun developing property outside Morgantown, West Virginia, overlooking the beautiful Cheat Lake, and wanted to build log homes there.

Mel found the quality of Appalachian Log Structures unparalleled in the log home manufacturing industry and he pursued a dealership.

You can visit Mel at his log structure office in Morgantown, the Fairlea model, which he purchased from ALSI after he saw it constructed at the West Virginia State Fair in Fairlea, West Virginia.
